Bobbi Brown- Flannery
Head of the School/ Director


Mrs. Bobbi is from Bisbee Junction, Arizona. She is the founder of Still Water Montessori School, nonprofit 501c3, established in 2016.  She is currently Head of School and the lead teacher.  She is a Health and Wellness Coach for Arbonne International and is passionate about proper nutrition and loves teaching children and families about the three-part snack.  She served as the Ambassador Chair for Montessori Educational Programs International and has been on the board from 2019 to 2021.  She was the Toddler Directress at Montessori Day School in North Charleston, SC (2010-2015).  She attended Pickler Intensive III, Observation of Infants and Toddlers:  Attention to Detail (2012).  She was the Children’s House Directress at Montessori of Ladera Ranch (2008-2010).  She taught a 1st-2nd and 4th-5th combo class at Center for Academic Success Elementary School in Sierra Vista, AZ (2005-2008).  She worked for Maricopa County Head Start as a Family Case Specialist and Lead Teacher (2000-2004) and an Infant Director for Early Head Start (1999-2000).  She was the Assistant Director for the Adult Day Care at Casa De Esperanza (1997-1999).  She Graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education (May 2005) and from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Resources, Family Studies (December 1998).  She moved to Charleston on July 4th, 2010 to join her husband.  Her two children were born in the South and raised in a Montessori Classroom, she calls Summerville, South Carolina Home.






Liz Ramirez

Learning Development Specialist (LDS)

Ms. Liz graduated with honors in Early Childhood Education in Colombia, S.A. She has over 20 years of experience educating children and adults. She is Montessori certified teacher and the Founder of Earth Heart Growers, a nonprofit organization created to connect children with the earth by practicing organic gardening and farming. She supports the SWM Team by designing, implementing and evaluating effective learning and development programs with the focus of enhancing employee knowledge, skills and competencies to support individual and organizational growth.
